Space

Start with this video walk-through of the space. It’s 12 minutes, but that’s why god invented 2x speed.

There are seven bedrooms. The tour starts at the pool house which has three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Ace Hotel vibe. Then there is an old 'casita' with low ceiling beams attached to the main house with its own private bathroom. Inside the main house, there are two bedrooms on the ground floor that share a bathroom ('mirror' and 'lantern' named for their distinguishing features) and a 'princess pants' bedroom at the top.

There are several indoor common spaces, and tables under shade cover outside. Those of us landing first will be adding some more shade and lighting accents, and putting together some additional desks for the rooms.

Experience

When you start with the finest ingredients, it’s really hard to fuck things up. In other words, it’s YOU who will make this magical. :)

Our ‘programmed’ interactions will be light. On the first evening after our arrival, we’ll have a special dinner together devoted to getting to know one another - our creative focus and our humanity - in rich and authentic ways.
Be ready to share what you’re working on, along with your sparkle and your challenges! Every person invited is a generous soul and a great listener with a wide aperture on life. You have been invited you are fundamentally a Giver. So together, we’ll naturally discover ways forward one another toward our goals.

Are we working? Yes, absolutely.

Whatever that looks like for you. Our hosts have had fiber internet installed on the mountain just for this. I am arranging for white boards and we have a couple external monitors. (Happy to coordinate the purchase of a few more, as desired.) We’ve found that this format works best for those who are not working full-time in execution mode, but who are in a place of transition or curiosity and could benefit from giving and receiving inspiration and support form others. <3

Are we playing? Are we learning? Yes, of course!!

We’ll be collaborating on a calendar of opportunities — hikes, drum circles, visits to local fairs, dinner outings, etc. You’re welcome to add ideas and participate, or not, based on your work schedule and flow.

Costs

Lovers and Builders operates in the Love Economy. It is not a new start-up and it is not (on its own) financially sustainable. We’ve got the blessing of a beautiful location based on relationships, and we’re basically splitting costs.

The reason the costs go up is because the rent goes up. It’s still well below anything you will find on the market — take a look at Airbnb to make some comparisons and feel super good about yourself. ;)

Prices for Solo Rooms

Friday, May 20 - €600/week + you get a bonus weekend 🙌
Sunday, May 29 / June 5 - €700/week
Sunday, June 12 / June 19 - €800/week
Sunday, June 26 / July 3 - €900/week

Prices for Shared Rooms

Friday, May 20 - €450/week + you get a bonus weekend 🙌
Sunday, May 29 / June 5 - €525/week
Sunday, June 12 / June 19 - €600/week
Sunday, June 26 / July 3 - €675/week

Other costs per person, assuming two week stay:
- Car Rental €400-500 (solo) or €200-250 (shared)
- Phone Data €30-70 (depending on your plan)
- Delicious restaurants and island activities (choose-your-own-adventure)

Flights from the US to London are about €450-600 roundtrip. Flights from London to Ibiza are about €100-$250 roundtrip.

Timing

There is a two week minimum stay, and you are welcome to stay longer. This is core the magic of Lovers and Builders, and for a couple reasons.

Most importantly, it keeps us in a steady social vibe. Continuity allows us to drop into the experience – of co-living, co-working, and the slow delicious discovery of both island life and one another. Intimacy is a vibe. :)

So we're leaving space for quirky moments, unplanned adventures, and the natural unfolding of our many human layers. In other words, this isn't a place where you have to 'squeeze' the most out your vacation days or feel the clock ticking down shortly after you've landed. The gift is to LAND.

There is no maximum stay. If you'd like to rent out your place back home and stay for the full time, consider that option too. We'll make some magnificent trouble, and you'll meet some incredible new friends.
